#SuzyMBFWT: Kon'nichiwa, Japan! - Vogue

So it's Goodbye, #Frieze London and Hello, Tokyo! After a long flight to Japan to see Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo (#MBFWT), I felt Lost in Translation with jetlag but the energy and creativity of the city keep you buzzing (with a little help from #Yuyanara’s magical hair and make-up)

#MBFWT I’m about to go to my first show of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo. And this is the Blade Runner vision from the show space windows.

#Ginza grams! Tokyo's Ginza has changed so much over the years. Its current mix is fast fashion and re-furbished department stores.

#Uniqlo Uniqlo Ginza is the largest Uniqlo in Japan — 12 floors of fabulous affordable fashion! And the more than 500 staff are oh-so-charming and cosmopolitan. A fast-shopping delight

#IsseyMiyake, let me give you a kiss! Move your arms and these PleatsPlease tops reveal Jagger-pout lips in Pop-Art-bright shades that bring colour and happiness to store windows. Tokyo has a lot to teach Western window dressers.

#FrankGehry at #2121DesignSight "Architecture, people, technology" - "I Have an Idea", the exhibition celebrating the life and work of architect #FrankGehry is at the #2121DesignSight in Tokyo until 7 February 2016. Visitors can experience the futuristic vision of the mastermind behind the Fondation Louis Vuitton building and the Guggenheim Bilbao with virtual reality installations at the show. Proving he has more than “an idea”!

Yo! #Yuyanara Tokyo’s terrifically talented hair-and-make-up master, Yuyanara.

#YoshioKubo — Bohemian, with attitude The menswear from Tokyo designer Yoshio Kubo is original and imaginative. I would describe his style as Bohemian  with attitude. This means well-cut clothes, aggressive accessories and some witty touches like having “vintage” and “modern” printed on the same outfit.

#YoshioKubo S/S 2016 Ninjas in sneakers Sneakers were the hot footwear from Tokyo designer Yoshio Kubo.

#YoshioKubo S/S 2016 I liked the flat flower prints drawing the line between aggression and softness from Yoshio Kubo at MBFWT.
